The most commonly asked questions
about Registration, Teams and AJSC
Your
child needs to be born in calendar year 2021 (i.e. turning 5 in 2026) to be able to play 6's,
the same follows for all the other age groups. The FIFA regulations
we play under specifies this ‘year born format’, not ‘school year’ as with some
sports.
Younger
than 5 in 2026? - keep an eye out on our Facebook for other young player programs.
AJSC has retained considerably decreased U6 and U7 fees to make these ages more accessible. More on U6 / U7 here Under 6 and Under 7 Format
AJSC endeavours to keep fees affordable across all ages (U6 to U17), Thanks to some great sponsors and fundraising work, fee increases for the 2025 have been limited to those necessary to meet costs and maintain affordability.
If
you have difficulties paying there are options available - One of these
is Kidsport. This is a government funded program for eligible
players. Click Here for eligibility information and
application. AJSC will accept approved and endorsed Kidsport vouchers as
payment - get your voucher number before you register, enter it at the checkout to apply the Kidsport voucher value. Then send your voucher to us by post. If Kidsport is not available to you, you
can contact the registrar confidentially to discuss other options such as
payment plans. Kidsport can be used for Fees and playing uniform only, it cannot be used for paying volunteer levy, equipment or LSA memberships.
Registrations OPEN 6TH February 2026
Registrations CLOSE 9th March 2026 - 9pm
If
you are not registered and paid in full (including submission of Kidsport
voucher) by the Closing date and time, you cannot be guaranteed a place on a
team.
The
AJSC playing fields are located off Leisure Drive on Peter Anderson Drive, Oval
4. This is our home ground. See the Game Day Info Page on this website for Map and Pitch
Locations for AJSC and the other clubs we play.
The
season ordinarily follows a home and away format. You will be required
to travel to other grounds on game days. It is possible you may need to
travel to any or all of the following grounds during the season - Dardanup, Harvey, Bunbury (Forrest Park, Hay Park), Busselton, Balingup, Dalyellup and Collie.
It is proposed that the season will commence on the first weekend of term 2.(MAY 2ND) Our governing association, the FSW, oversees the fixturing of games and sets the playing times for the various age groups.
All Games are played on Saturdays. The age groups stick to a fixed time each week. Click here for Game Times. Detailed fixtures and final times for games are ordinarily available about mid to late April. The club will put a link to the fixtures on our website once they become available. If two teams mutually agree to shift the date or the time of a game – your team Coach or Team Manager will inform you of any such changes; these changes will generally not be reflected in the published fixtures.
Once registrations are open Go to the REGISTRATION page on this website. Register on this page with AJSC by family - at the end of AJSC registration and once payment has been made you will be taken to the National registration pages (PlayFootball). If you have played before you will have an FFA number, you can use the look up number search on the site if you don’t know it. If you are new, you can request an FFA number online. Once you have this you can log on and complete the per player registration - complete right through to payment (payment will be zero dollars). Registration will be with Australind Soccer Club - please ensure you select the correct age group - If you are being asked for payment during the PlayFootball registration you are registering with the wrong club or age group.
All players are supplied with a playing shirt, which remains the property of the club. This MUST be returned at the end of the playing season. Non return of a club playing shirt will result in being requested to pay the price of replacing the shirt and/or restrictions on registrations for the following year.
You will be required to provide your own: shorts, socks, shin pads and boots
Socks and shorts are royal blue and are available to order during the registration process. These will then be placed in your coach's bag to be distributed before the season starts.
If you choose not to order, they are stocked locally at Sports Power Treendale and Bunbury.
Soccer boots and shin pads can be any colour, brand or style designed for soccer (no metal spikes). These are available at various sporting stores and shoe stores in Bunbury and surrounding areas.
Not all age groups are guaranteed until all clubs have registered teams.
Once
teams are allocated your coach will contact you via email or phone to introduce
themselves and advise you of the team. Please contact the registrars if
you do not hear from AJSC or your coach by the 20th of April.
Your
coach will contact you and advise you about training days, times and
location. All our coaches are volunteers who donate countless hours of
their valuable time to their teams on training and game days.
Regrettably, times or venues chosen may not always be suitable or clash for
some parents/guardians, however coaches set these times around their own work,
family and other commitments. Please advise your coach if attending training is
an issue for you.
Girls competition age groups are Under 10s, 12s, 14s and 17s. This will be subject to player numbers across all clubs. All girls in these age groups will be placed in the Girls teams, unless specified during the registration process. Please advise by email registrar@ajsc.org.au prior to registration if your child wishes to play
in a mixed team rather than a girls only division. Click here for more detail on Girls at AJSC
The graded competition is dependent on a number of factors including the total number of teams put in by other clubs -something that unfortunately AJSC cannot control. Some of this will not be known until after registrations. Any changes to age groups due to this will be advised as soon as known.
Whilst
this information is distributed to coaches and team managers we understand that
some players may miss out on information for varying reasons. The new
registration process comes with many tools to allow the clubs to bulk email and
SMS players and parents.
As
AJSC is a large club (500+ players each year) we rely on email as the primary form
of direct communication to players and teams and use Facebook for event
reminders etc. Please make sure you email address is correct when you
register.
You
can come back to this website www.ajsc.org.au to keep up to date with
the latest club information or you can like our page on Facebook, which is also
regularly updated with information.
AJSC
is keen for all children to “have a go”. If your child decides soccer is not
right for them, partial refunds are available up until your child has played
their 3rd game. The refund is a Part Refund given our Governing Body's component (insurance, etc) has been applied to the club from the first game onwards (approx. $120 per player). After the three week trial period any monies paid are
non-refundable subject to further consideration by the Club Committee (please email registrars as early as possible if cancelling your registration).
The
LSA has been formed with the express purpose of operating the Pavilion for
the benefit of the Associated Clubs. AJSC is an associated club. Being a member of AJSC does not automatically grant you membership however membership is only $1 per member. Under AJSC constitution all parents and guardians of registered players are automatically
members of the AJSC. We use the emergency contacts section when you
register to record this membership. Please ensure that this section is updated so that you can clearly be identified to the LSA as a member of AJSC
and obtain any discounts or privileges that you are eligible for.
LSA is fully open for business and looking for members - we want you to join and take advantage of the family friendly atmosphere and reasonably priced meals. Visit the LSA Facebook page for more information.
AJSC has clear codes of behaviour and conduct policies in place - agreement to abide by these club policies is a condition of ongoing registration with the club. These include player, coach and spectator behaviour on and off the field and also in the way people interact with and discuss AJSC, FSW and affiliated clubs online. All can be accessed on our home page.
As well as the FIFA laws of the game we also have local association rules that define things like weather cancellations, ability to play across age groups and divisions etc.
A Free online laws of the game course is available here https://www.playfootball.com.au/referee/laws-of-the-game
